Town Clerk
The Town of Burlington is accepting applications for the position of Clerk.
Job Description:
● Part-time, M-F 8 am - noon, some evenings required.
● The clerk will be responsible for maintaining and filing all municipal records, including council minutes, ordinances, and resolutions. The clerk will be required to prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and ensure proper notice for town meetings. The clerk will act as a liaison between the public and town officials and facilitate access to public records. The clerk will also be responsible for all accounting, budgeting, financial management, and tax responsibilities for the town. The clerk will assist in the monthly utility billing.
● Clerk will be required to complete Public Officer Training and maintain appropriate education for Municipal Clerks.
● Pay will be dependent on experience and performance
Minimum Qualifications:
● High School degree or equivalent
● Proficiency with computers
● Able to be bonded as a Notary Public (background check required)
● Business accounting experience is preferable

WAM Executive Assistant
WAM is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and senior staff, ensuring smooth operations across scheduling, event coordination, program management, and basic financial tracking.
The candidates should understand WAM’s mission and goals. Highly professional with the ability to use clear, appropriate judgement. Highly organized and extremely detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
